Pete practices in sophisticated estate and tax planning.
Prior to joining the firm, Pete was a manager in KPMG’s International Tax Consulting Group. During his five years at KPMG, he advised private and publicly traded clients regarding the U.S. federal income tax implications of various inbound and outbound transactions. Before his time at KPMG, Pete was a member of the business law and commercial transactions group of a prominent New Jersey law firm, where he counseled clients on a variety of items including business formations and various commercial agreements.
After graduating from Rutgers School of Law, Pete earned his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
During Pete’s time at Rutgers School of Law, he worked as a law clerk to the general counsel at Valley National Bank and interned at the Morris County Superior Court, Criminal Division. Additionally, he was a member of the Rutgers School of Law Federal Tax Clinic, where he assisted low-income taxpayers with various tax matters.
Pete attended Rutgers University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in finance.
